| The only Group 1 breadmaking spring wheat on the HGCA list. It has very good disease resistance and relatively stiff straw. However, it is likely to suffer a yield penalty lying 17% behing Tybalt and 21% behind Belvoir.

| Tybalt is just behind Belvoir on yield but is the highest yielding breadmaking spring wheat. It has moderately stiff straw, excellent disease resistance and is the most popular Group 2 spring wheat.

| A national high-yielding spring wheat with stiff straw and good disease resistance especially to Mildew.

BELVOIR (CPB Twyford) |

| Unlike other spring wheat this exceptionally high yielding variety has no breadmaking quality. However, it’s high yield and stiff straw enables it to provide a very good feed option to growers.
